Werlabs

New payment method and login with BankID

When I joined Werlabs for a short contract doing intense freelancing in-house, the idea was to solve some usability problems.
The product is based on specific blood tests purchased online. The online system was already working but needed improvements. One of the problems I helped to solve was the BankID system implementation to log in or purchase more efficiently.
I did different scenarios cases, flows, layouts and also supported the remote team of engineers. The result can be seen below but can also be used on the website.
Login to the personal journal with BankID

The model presented is very simple and the biggest challenges were, in fact, technical (for the developers). As I was working with a remote team, all the developers involved were unfamiliar with the Swedish payment system.
The research was then conducted to demonstrate to the team how the system actually worked. We had access to all the error logs and the system that Bankid itself provides and based on this, I created a flowchart with the possible dialogue screens and it was presented to developers in various formats. The screens followed the simple response system through use in conjunction with the application.

After that, I presented an integration format with our existing platform. The goal was that users could log in to their Journals so that it was possible to check the medical posts regarding the blood exam results more easily since several errors happened with the use of SMS and code to log in.
that model that I created has been tested several times, and you can find out how it works using the Werlabs website. Unfortunately, for this, you need to make a purchase as the system is meant to be accessed just by customers.
The system presented can be used on both mobile and web versions.
New Product Hälsokontroll XL PLUS

Another intense job was taking the lead in creating a new product: Häalsokontroll XL Plus, which is an improved version of Werlabs' flagship product. This product came from two dependencies: a request from users and a need for the company to surpass its product.
I actively participated from the beginning of this project as a product designer, from the research, development, and implementation. The product is available on the homepage of the company website. It was also best thought to fit the mobile shopping experience.

This was interesting work, I needed to study their current product, to see where it could be improved and discuss it with the team, the medical team was also of great help, as without it it would be impossible to identify other possible evaluation points of the blood test exam which is the product and provide more information to the patient, bumping into competitors who have just arrived in the market. that didn't offer the same product or quality as Werlabs.

New Product Hälsokontroll Premium (B2B)
The most profitable sales of the company are the sales of the service to another company. At the beginning of 2018, Werlabs invested in the creation of a unique product to reach this prestigious group. This is how Hälsokontroll Premium came out. A product for B2B sale only.
With respect to the company and its strategy, little will be shown here about this product, which I also participated deeply with the entire team.

The product was based on research by the sales team and customer needs. Since this product consists of a single sale of several specific blood tests. This form of sale already existed before but was not in its perfect form.
The product was sold as a package with xx numbers of gift cards, similar to present cards to B2C customers but the way the employee used these Gift cards had a big UX problem.
The gift card model purchase was very difficult to use and it had another system behind it. Another need was to create a blood-testing schedule at the client's place, with a private service team of Werlabs professionals. This way, employees could easily take the exam at a suitable time without having to go to a doctor's office for the exam and lose hours of work.
Other improvements were made to the usability parameters, and accessibility of this product that followed stakeholder needs

To access the product, a special page for the requesting company (customer) has been made, it is a base website that is generally reused for each customer. After purchasing the gift card package, each sub-customer (employee) receives an email requesting that they access the site.
On this site, the user should read the information about the product and click on the option to activate the gift card that was previously activated manually through codes.
This system was required to talk to BankID's identification system, thereby improving employee UX when accessing the product. With BankID it was also possible to check who is the user and if the user was or is a Werlabs client without having to create a new account to access your Journal and compare previous exam results.
Below you can see a little of how identification using BankID works for these cases.

Log in or create an account, if the employee already has theirs BankID linked to any account

Customers are treated as an individual, in case of the user be a man after 45 years old can have also a PSA test included

After completed login, they had active their product and now the employee can go through the schedule blood sample or access this calendar when is suitable (by email).
Another peculiarity of the product was that users could check some extras in a special platform, with stuff correlated with stress and overwork problems that could help them to work feeling better, but with respect to Werlabs and their strategy, I will not show how this system works or its layout.
Thank you very much for accessing this case, as you can see my work is very dynamic and I can work with different products and challenges.
