Here you are going to see a personal project (a study) of a game that I had in my mind. The goal of this project was to create a UI / UX design using a game workflow.
Scarecatch is a sidescroller game. I choose this style because sidescrollers games were the first style of game that I played, the old but gold Megadrive.
In the game, you are a witcher cat, who needs to collect souls during an apocalyptic night where the dogos were transformed into freaking zombies.
Concepts

Initially, I was in need of some assets, so I started with the idea of the characters. The drawings were made into paper first and then translated into vectors using illustration techniques.
I really like to create some vector arts so for me that was indeed a fun part. As you can see in the second image, you can find some colour experimentation for the cat character.
Screens
After having the characters done, I ran into setting screens. Below you can see some of this work for the game. As the idea was to train game layouts, I created some quick animations to demonstrate how these assets and controls would work for users.

GUI
A side-scrolling game is a video game in which the gameplay action is viewed from a side-view camera angle, and the onscreen characters can generally only move to the left or right. The game will adjust the screen with the character's movement, making the character off-centre in the opposite direction of its movement, showing more space in front of the character than behind. So, after having decided the style, colours and patterns for the game, I create a game screen according to this mindset.

Here you can see some controllers, a healthy bar that is common in this scenario game. Well, Hope you guys have liked my game idea, see you next time!
